Taking A Vacation From My Vacation

After trekking into the depths of The Nyack (post below), Jeremy and Truman made their way north to hike Gunsight Pass, pictured below.

The weather was terrific and the views were spectacular. Gunsight Pass is the 'u' in the center of the picture.

Beautiful Lake Ellen Wilson with Gunsight Pass above.

Florence Falls was a quick and rewarding side hike.

It was nice to have extra time to enjoy the great fishing at Gunsight Lake.

We hiked our way to the foot of Jackson Glacier and even got to witness a big chunk break and tumble off.

Jeremy with his sweet straw hat, enjoying Jackson Glacier.

Finally someone else hiked with me and took a picture of me admiring Gunsight Lake.

Uphill aint so bad when this is the view. Going to the Sun Mountain and Gunsight Lake.

A great three day, 18.7 mile hike with two good buddies.
Thanks for the terrific weekend fellas!!!
